Description Olivier Churlaud 2016-01-26 19:08:08 UTC
When opening a document that is already open, switch to the concerned tab/window.

Currently: It open a new tab with the document
Comment 1 Yann Salmon 2018-07-30 18:08:29 UTC
I am reviving and updating this bug/wish as this behaviour (opening the same document in two windows or two tabs) persists in recent versions of Okular.

Evince has been switching to the existing window in the same circumstances for several years.

Users don't get to confirm bugs and even more less so wishes
Comment 3 Albert Astals Cid 2018-07-30 23:22:52 UTC
This doesn't mean this is discarded or that a patch won't be considered, but please don't touch the status of the bug.
Comment 4 Yann Salmon 2018-07-31 09:03:37 UTC
Ah, sorry, I thought that the technical permissions in the bug reporting tool would match the actual actions I was allowed to do.
Comment 5 Fabiano 2024-03-08 09:51:56 UTC
The feature works for me in Okular 24.02.0
