Description Miklos Karacsony 2016-01-25 19:22:45 UTC
kdelibs4support depends on kdesignerplugin which in turn depends on kdewebkit (qtwebkit). qtwebkit takes forever to build and kdesignerplugin is hardly used by a regular user unless he/she is a developer. making it optional would make sense as it would save a lot of (build) time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
try to build kdelibs4support without kdesignerplugin

Actual Results:
cmake error saying that kdesignerplugin is a required package

Expected Results:
cmake warning that an optional dependency is missing

kdelibs4support was already in pure maintenance mode in kf5, for kf6 it got removed,
there will be no future work spend on this beside critical security issues, if
at all.
