All KDE applications start with lagg:
- show window decoration
- 1 sec delay
- window content

Bug in Qt5, see https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-49931

Of course a client that requires a second to map a window is a problem by itsel, but the preview of the empty titlebar is because XSYNC is unconditionally disabled in Qt5
