When my monitor goes into sleep mode and I move the mouse the screen is still black, as I move the mouse around patch of it are drawn but screen is not refreshed properly.

I have to switch desktop multiple time for screen and open windows to be shown correctly.

$ kded4 --version

KDE Development Platform: 4.14.13

This has happened multiple times but not always.

I don't see this with a fresh install of kubuntu 16.4.1
