Description Martin Tlustos 2016-01-22 09:20:49 UTC
Right now a selected page layout will apply to the whole document. I would like to be able to apply page layouts to specific pages.

Also I cannot find a way to edit a page layout.

Reproducible: Always

The ui is there actuallyto redefine the page style

go into the page layout dialog by going to the "page layout" tab/mode and press the page layout button

You can even apply it to different parts of the document - just create a page break - have more than one page layout style and use it on either side of the page break.

I wlll give you though that the ui is not the best and has been scheduled for rework for a long time - in any case thise kind of larger improvements are not being tracked in the bugzilla so i am closing your report

Well, it does not work with the provided testcase document at all (o.k., it's a rather complicated document, I agree, but it should still work).
And calligra crashes when I delete text from the linked frames, but I'll file a new bug report for that.

Testcase page break and page layout
Comment 5 Camilla Boemann 2016-01-25 09:56:22 UTC
as far as i can see the document has several page styles one with 3 columns and one with 1 - and both are shown in the document

But you have so many linked frames that ithink it is clouding what you see and what you think you are doing

also i see no crash when deleting text from the linked frames

The second page style is applied wrongly (it should be 99x210mm), and I cannot change it. If I try, all pages are set to the same page size (99x210mm)
