Description Simone Gaiarin 2016-01-16 10:47:59 UTC
The shape of the polygon (an ellipse for example) is not previewed (only a rectangle is shown but this doesn't help a lot), so that it's pretty difficult to draw it where we want without covering the surrounding text.

This together with the fact that polygons as other annotations are not resizeable makes it difficult to use some of the shapes.

Reproducible: Always

Why was the VDG CC'ed on this? Where do you need design input?
Comment 2 Simone Gaiarin 2016-02-22 11:16:09 UTC
I've added the VDG to CC by mistake while I was reviewing some other VDG related bugs of okular, but I couldn't remove it.
Comment 3 Thomas Pfeiffer 2016-02-22 11:24:28 UTC
Ok, I removed it.

Hello Simone,

it seems that half the problem was fixed in newer versions.

You can resize the polygons and annotations now.

The wish that you can already see the shape as you draw it still exists.
I mark it as confirmed and wishlist so that if someone is looking into contributing to okular can find it better.
