The point we click to add a popup notes is assumed to be the upper left corner of the icon that will be added. I would expect that the point I click is considered the central point of the icon. With the current behaviour the icon is often placed over the text. See attachment.

Of course we can then move the icon, but with this fix usability will be improved.

The red point in the upper part of the picture indicate the click point. The bottom part of the picture shows the result.

Thanks for the report Simone.

I've just tested this on Okular from git master and I created a Popup Note and it was created directly at the mouse pointer.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved, thanks.
