Dear developers,

I m extremely happy with the new kdenlive 15.12.0 (running on manjaro now pretty stable) thank you for this excellent work.
I have one suggestion that would be very very useful for my workflow:

A button to generally bypass all effects - if they re applied to whole clips or to regions in the timeline- of the whole project.
This would be great out of the following reasons:

+ these days footage often comes in "flat" formats so I often apply a simple besier effect to see how it coult look people often use LUTs while filming too see and recording the flat image that is best for post production. this option would give a similar option to the editor.

+ you then can edit fast with no effects applied with no stuttering but then for rendering out fully graded you just have to hit one button to apply all the effects set beforehand.

+ like in linux there s no external grading suite all the color correction i do , i do in the program. (and this trend also is visible now in premier etc to put all the grading tools in one program like importing/exporting to other software is always cumbersome...) this way you could start grading and editing at the same time, so more diverse workflows become possible.

thank you and please contact me if the idea didnt become clear or for more detailed suggestions about it. :)

+

Reproducible: Always

Hi,
Good news, this is already implemented.
You can disable the effects on Bin clips from the bin menu (see 1st attachment), and Timeline effects from the Timeline menu (2nd screenshot).

Let me know if it works like you need.
