While using line tool over portrait picture it sudenly cut out a square out of picture 

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.use line toool
2. randomly draw some lines, because you don't like how they look on your 4k screen
3. 

Actual Results:  
line tool worked

Expected Results:  
randomly cut out a square out of picture

3.  maybe SHIFT is also involved somehow as i was trying to draw vertical lines

Thanks for your report. Do you have opengl enabled or disabled when you reproduce this issue?

I don't know. I tried to reproduce straight away without any changes in
system or even closing krita. I'm not technical guy.

I've seen this reported more often. Confirming, preparatory to a check for duplicate reports.

I think this got fixed with the latest tiles rewrite. I haven't seen a report about it for more than two years now.
