This problem is here not to reproduce. Can you upload a small test image? Maik I can't provide a "small" one (because if I scale the image it seems to work correctly). With digiKam-5.0.0-beta3, seems the problem does not exist anymore. See the screenshot.

Tried on my computer too. Not reproducible with 5.0.0 since Geolocation editor have been ported to digiKam core. Gilles Caulier |
Created attachment 96542 [details] Screenshot of the error appearing In the geotagging editor window, when a vertical picture is selected for geotagging, the preview on the right is not rotated correctly. As you can see in the attachment, the preview of the image in the list of selected images (left column of the window, below the map) is correctly rotated.
