This bug has been around for ages. This problem only affects the view "as list", and not "as icons". For some reason, the "as list" view does not adopt what is set by the system-wide color scheme. (There are other elements of kmail that do the same, but that's for another bug report.) This doesn't seem reproducible on current KMail from master. I can freely switch the theme between Breeze and Breeze Dark with live update of my color scheme and the list always works correctly. |
Created attachment 96539 [details] KMail 2 favorite folders See the attached screenshot: the white text on light blue background is unreadable unless you have very good eyes. This issue only appears in the favorite folders window. I'm using the default colors (in the Appearance section). I'm using the default Breeze theme, Arch Linux (up-to-date), KDE Frameworks 5.17, Qt 5.5.1.
