See if doing the following in Dolphin helps: Configure Dolphin > Services > Uncheck 'File to activity linking plugin'. Plasmashell and dolphin have not crashed when hovering mouse in the context menu since I did that. Perhaps you are having the same issue when right-clicking on icons. Thanks for the bug report. This will be fixed in Dolphin 15.12.2. As a workaround, wait some time before you click "Configure Dolphin" after moving the mouse pointer there. The crash only happens if there is a submenu (like Extras or Help) open while you click. > Testing out a custom service menu.
