I thought that fglrx had to do sth with the bug and I reinstalled it. Apparently I was wrong. Since I have set to KDE to remember my session, the next thing I did was to quit from Kontact application before logging off and on. This made it work properly! I suspect that since Kontact wants to use KWallet, and KWallet starts with a "pop-up" dialog to ask for the code, it makes the plasma collapse. When I was not running Kontact and there was no KWallet, everything went smooth as expected. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 357595 *** |
