Description Mathieu Jobin 2016-01-04 01:59:49 UTC
in our accounts settings, we have ways to specify which folder is your sent-folder and which is your trash-folder.
but it does not seems we have a way to specify our spam folder

gmail, automatically moves spam mails to the its spam folder.
but I am getting notification whenever I get new mail in my spam box.

any existing solution? could we mark some folders as spam folder, to not receive notification?
or have notifications turn off for specific folders?

thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get a gmail
2. configure it in kmail
3. get some spam
4. look for a notification

Actual Results:
notifications for spams

Expected Results:
no notifications for spam

no one else annoyed by this?

Do you still get notifications if the "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" option is turned off for the spam folder?

The option is at Menu bar - Folder - Folder Properties - General tab.

Thank you, I did not know of this option.

I turn it off for the spam folder and I will close this in the mean time.
will reopen if necessary, but I'm confident you solved my problem

thank you
