Description slartibart70 2016-01-01 14:56:25 UTC
Have plasma5 started and connect a 2nd monitor (vga, hdmi)
It's more than luck if the monitor is detected, sometimes it works only in the sddm login screen, sometimes only when plasmashell is running.
The release of the 2nd monitor is also not detected.

This is not production ready as it is right now - what about those in need of a beamer for a presentation???? It's worse than windows...

Reproducible: Always

Cannot confirm. KScreen always detects the new monitor (Intel GPU).

Which version did you test with?
To be fair, the bugreport uses 5.5.1, now we are on 5.6.x
Comment 3 Thiago Macieira 2016-04-25 18:23:12 UTC
kscreen 5.6.2, but same with older versions.
Comment 4 slartibart70 2016-05-01 11:11:14 UTC
I retested with a current version of fedora23/kde 5.6.2 and indeed it is working as wanted.
Let's close this ticket then.
