Resizing a remote session (e.g. ThinLinc or VNC) results in an authentication request for "creating a color managed device". Similar to bug 357245 here, and these Gnome bugs:

The request in question is "org.freedesktop.color-manager.create-device" with the message "Create a color managed device".

kcolord is now unmaintained, color management has moved to kwin as part of wayland.
