Description Kevan 2015-12-22 23:05:36 UTC
I have just installed Digikam 4 from the Mint 17.3 synaptic install manager. It all works well apart from the tool tips boxes. The boxes background are a yellow colour while the font used for the actual tips inside is white. It is pretty much unreadable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Digikam...
2.
3.

Actual Results:
I got the problem I have already detailed.

Expected Results:
I would have hoped for the font to be black or at least a darker colour so that I could read the tips.

Agreed it is similar to the other reported bug. However, the difference is simply that this is a plain vanilla install of Digikam. I have not added or changed any backgrounds, this is how it comes. It is rather disappointing to see that it has been going on for number of revisions and major releases :(
