Mostly commenting just to get on the CC list for this bug, as I came here to file this. I love how media pauses when I get a call, but when everything starts up again the feeling is that of trying to stop a runaway train. :) I've actually thought about just breaking my local install, as it seems easy enough to mangle: * https://cgit.kde.org/kdeconnect-kde.git/tree/plugins/pausemusic/pausemusicplugin.cpp#n103 On second thought, it is rather convenient that the media plays again for "wrong number" & junk calls... so maybe the ideal solution would be if it resumes only if the call lasted less than N seconds? ... just a thought. I actually created my bugs.kde.org account to comment on this! This is such important a feature to me that I've stopped using the plugin. It's like... on 100% of phone calls auto-pausing is desirable, and only maybe 10-20% of the time auto-resuming would be nice. The rest of the time it's just jarring to have music I've forgotten I was even listening to resume. I'd like to work on this one. |
