Wayland Error File
I'm not sure what else you need from me
It looks like Xwayland doesn't work. It reports lots of errors and we have messages about "Did the X11 server die?" and the failure to start the launcher also looks very suspicious. I can get weston-1.9 working ok, I'm not sure how I can investigate this issue, which logs should I be looking at for clues? Can I try and start kwin manually? Is there anything I need to set up? weston unlike kwin doesn't require Xwayland. If you start weston with xwayland support, Xwayland is only started on first X application. And yes, you can try running kwin manually. Either nested in an X session or from a tty: kwin_wayland --xwayland "application-to-start --args" |
