Description Mark 2015-12-10 14:04:42 UTC
opensuse Leap 42.1 with newly updated plasma 5.5
Lock screen set to activate after 45 mins which works just fine but once lockscreen is activated there is no place to input a password to re-enter the desktop - it simply displays a blank wallpaper screen.
Same behaviour if lockscreen invoked using ctrl+alt+L

sorry about the poor image quality

Is this a visual problem (ie. does it not happen with the compositor suspended, SHIFT+Alt+F12) or is it truely not there?
Comment 3 Mark 2015-12-10 17:19:20 UTC
truly not there.
With compositor suspended there is still no way to re-enter DE
Comment 4 Thomas Lübking 2015-12-10 17:30:50 UTC
there should be some kscreenlocker_greet process while the screen is locked.
It probably crashes instantly and repeatingly?
(You should be able to check that via ssh or from VT2, ctrl+alt+f2)

ok - seems this was an openSUSE packaging error that has now been fixed
