Actually I find an even more serious issue right now, even with up to date arch linux packages. Choosing the status in ktp-contactlist (online, away, not available, ...) works for all the statuses EXCEPT offline. When choosing offline, nothing happens and it stays CONNECTED. Only using the plasma applet I am able to effectively switch to offline. This is a serious issue, because people might wrongly believe to be offline, while they are in fact online. Sounds serious but it's a different issue. Can you please open that as a new report? Already did that, I guess it would not have hurt to mention this here. It is reported as issue 404350. Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
