Even worse here, even hours not readable, see screenshot. korganizer 15.08.3-2 on Arch Linux. (Btw, this korganizer doesn't seem to have a proper license/version info, had to look for the installed package). Regards, Heinz Created attachment 96018 [details]
time picker korganizer 15.08.3-2
same here with korganizer 15.12.0, also on Arch Linux. Is this an Arch Linux specific problem? Ouch, yes, I just changed to a 24-hour locale with leading zeroes. I can confirm it's even worse. https://i.imgur.com/3UGeOV4.png Same problem as (comment 4) mentioned here as with Version 5.3.0 (QtWebEngine). The problem is caused by a non-proportional box of list for selecting time. If the font size of general in Settings -> Fonts -> General is set to be 8, the problem is gone. You mean System Settings, right, not Korganizer settings? Yes, I can confirm this *does* fix it, but then every other part of the Plasma UI is way too small for me. @sparhawk Yes, I set it in the System Settings. Usually I use a font size of 10, but now I use 9 to avoid the truncating problem. I'm not saying it's a solution. It's just a makeshift for now. Okay, thank you. Mine is usually set to 12, so it's a larger difference for me. My makeshift is to use Thunderbird/Lightning instead. :) (In reply to sparhawk from comment #8) So let's hope it will be fixed by setting a font-size-proportionally-expanding list box :) Works for me now with Korganizer Version 5.4.0 / 16.12.0-1 on Arch Linux. Yes, this seems not a problem now. The text box expands with increasing of the font size. version 5.4 with KDE Applications 16.12.0. I'm not using korganizer any more because of the ~dozen bugs that have been apparently ignored by the devs. However, I re-launched it and I can confirm that this bug has been fixed. (Presumably the fix was serendipitous and unrelated to this bug report, since it still was "Unconfirmed".) The bug is very much alive in version 5.4.3, KDE Neon (Dev. Stable). |
