using opensuse 13.2 KDE desktop
auto time and date is wrong (time is usually only a few minutes out every now and then)
navigate to adjust date and time
uncheck 'set time automatically'
re-check 'set time automatically'
crash happens
time is now correct

The crash can be reproduced every time.
