Description Moritz Bunkus 2015-12-01 07:53:36 UTC
When I use systemsettings for changing the shortcut for Plasma's "activate application launcher widget" from Alt+F1 to something else this works for the current session only. At the end of the day I shut down KDE and the computer normally via KDE's start menu. Next day when I log in again the shortcut has been reset to Alt+F1.

All of my other changes to shortcuts are saved and restored correctly, e.g. "manually invoke action on current clipboard" which I've re-mapped from Ctrl+Alt+R to Meta+X.

Note that the Alt+F1 shortcut is listed as being a "custom" shortcut. The "default" shortcut is supposed to be empty.

I've checked and made sure that all files in ~/.config belong to my current user.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change aforementioned shortcut
2. Log out of KDE (shut down the computer)
3. Log back in, open system settings and observe the shortcut's definition

Actual Results:
Shortcut reverts to Alt+F1

Expected Results:
Shortcut stays mapped to whatever I've chosen before
