KAlarm already has a mechanism to tile message windows - use the menu option View -> Spread Windows. I'm not familiar with x-tile, but it's possible that x-tile isn't able to handle windows which stay on top (which is the case for KAlarm message windows). KAlarm windows are designed to work in conjunction with both other applications' normal windows and with fullscreen windows. If x-tile can't handle the windows, that's really an x-tile problem, not a KAlarm one, since changing the window characteristics would almost certainly prevent them working properly in the normal case when x-tile is not being used. |
