Hi KDE bugtracking,

I've noticed this in the current build of Krita 2.9.9 for MintOS, the canvas is not centred when I switch  between 2 canvas windows. It offsets towards the upper left whenever switching to a smaller canvas. Switching to large canvases seems to centre properly. It makes it a bit awkward to work on several different images at once, as it's not in the same position as I left it. I wouldn't consider it a major bug, but it is quite irritating.

It seems like a fairly simple fix.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to reproduce this issue. I might be misunderstanding your report though. is Krita configured to show subwindows and is one of those smaller than the other? Or are these separate windows? If the former, how do you switch between the two subwindows?

@ boudewijn I think the reporter is referring to the sub-window mode.

I quickly tested this and minimising and maximising the window from a sub-window mode makes the canvas to position itself at the edges and not at the centre. 

To explain myself better i made a video, notice how the pseudo infinite canvas buttons appear due to the canvas getting off centred.

Okay, I can confirm that that happens. I don't know whether we can actually fix it, though.

The bug seem to be fixed in krita/4.3. I cannot reproduce it anymore :)
