I have a similar issue. Could not create @kdetalk.net accounts with telepathy (with account-kcm and accounts-signon and auth-handler installed). After creating the account (with or without the option "connect when wizard is finished), it is present in the account list but nothing happens. When I then use the dropdown menu and select "availalbe", it tries to connect and ask for a password but the password I entered when creating the account doesn't work. I had to use pidgin to create an account and then it works straight away on telepathy. Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma 5.6.4 Framework 5.22 Qt 5.6.0 KDE Application 16.04.1 Kernel 4.4.11 seems like @kdetalk.net is completely dead, if using Kopete or sth. else. use @ludenfabrik.de in-band registering instead. won't fix, I guess. |
