Description Martin van Es 2015-11-20 12:11:00 UTC
I have konsole set to use current size on next start, which works for the width of the console, but height gets reset to 480 on konsole start. Konsole close writes correct last height to konsolerc, but start discards this height, sets it to 480 and writes 480 to konsolerc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start konsole
2. Choose "use current window size on next startup" in konsole configuration
3. Resize konsole
4. Close konsole
5. Start konsole

Actual Results:
Width of konsole is preserved, height is reset to 480

Expected Results:
Preserved width and height

After closing konsole, .config/konsolerc contains the correct height.
After (re)starting konsole, the height setting is immediately reset to 480.

This only happens when I have external display attached.

By external display attached, do you mean you have multiple monitors?
Comment 3 Martin van Es 2016-05-24 06:51:50 UTC
Yes, that's what I meant.

I use this setup everyday and have never noticed it. Have you tried using the latest versioion?

I haven't seen this problem for a long time, even with external monitor. I may be closed.
