Using Akregator version 5.02, frameworks 5.15, and qt 5.4.2 on kubuntu 15.10 ( I did not see an option for this in the bug reporting system):

When setting to only viewing "unread" articles, the article is unable to be read.  It disappears because the program sets it to read as soon as it clicks, but never loads the article.  Seems this is a regression, as I saw old bug reports:

I am unable to reproduce this.  I don't know if an update or a restart changed something, but Akregator is working as expected.
