Sentry Crash Report:

Description Rafael Linux User 2015-10-27 11:40:16 UTC
When I use "Search in files" in remote (ftp) files, there is no distinction between letter case. If I enable "Case sensitive", Krusader finally finds any file containing the word I wrote, independently if I wrote the word in lowcase or uppercase.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access a remote FTP directory
2.Click "Search for files"
3.Enable "Remote content search"
4.Write a in lowercase a word you know that exist in some file of the remote directory
5.Click "Search" button
6.Repeat step 4 with the same word you wrote, but this time in uppercase
7.Click "Search" button

Actual Results:
The result is the same, independently if "case sensitive" is or not enabled.

Expected Results:
Krusader should distinguish between letter case.

If this is a task impossible to do in remote FTP folders, in this case, "Case sensitive" maybe should be unavailable, to avoid confussion.

cannot confirm with KF5 / current master. Please check this again.

Please test with latest version (2.5.0) and re-open if its not fixed for you.

My distro still have 2.4.0-beta3 "Single Step" version, so I only can say in this version still case sensitive search was failing. I try again when 2.5 version arrives to OpenSUSE.

Thank you
