New versions of Dolphin ( 15.08.2-1 ) no longer display PDF previews (this was available with older versions of KDE 4). Yet I installed the package kdegraphics - thumbnailers and dolphin-plugins , but the option is not available (see screenshot ) This is also valid for LibreOffice / Microsoft Office documents.
