I tried installing and unistalling 
kffmpegthumbnailer 
ffmpegthumbs
mplayerthumbs

and logged out and in again. But in the preview settings of dolphin (4:15.08.2-0ubuntu1) there is no video option. I installed other thumbnailers such as kde-thumbnailer-deb and they appear. Just video is missing.

I Have the same problem.
