The last two updates (2.9.7.6 and the version just prior to it) have completely scrambled my tagged brushes.  I had a category called "Favorites" that I spent weeks getting precisely the brushes I used all the time organized.  Both times it has essentially cleared those tags.

There needs to be AT A MINIMUM a way and/or warning to preserve those tagged categories.

This is a MAJOR slap and one which almost gets me to stop using the program, I am so frustrated with this bug/glitch/foulup.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up tagged brushes in a named category, Favorites, Favorite, etc.
2. install the update.
3. look at that category, no more of your tagged brushes present.  In this case ---1--- of my 20 or so brushes survived the update.

Actual Results:  
all but one of my tagged brushes was cleared.  Because the brushes are relatively hard to add to a category, this makes it that much more of a f***up.

Expected Results:  
All my brushes tagged in any category should still be tagged.

This is VERY nasty.  I spend weeks setting this up, forgot it got screwed up the last time I updated, and there was no warning to backup those favorites.  I am not even sure at this point if there IS a way to export/import brush favorite categories.

Hi,

You can always make a backup of your settings, the tags are stored in xml files in the resources directories. On Windows that's %APPDATA%\Roaming\krita\share\apps\krita, on Linux .kde/share/apps/krita. We're trying really hard to fix the tagging system, but it's harder than we expected.
