Description andy_90254 2015-10-09 03:54:08 UTC
Does not exclude excluded directories. So for example I want to exclude hidden (leading dot) directories, such as .config .kde .kde.bak .kde.bak.001 and so on.

Also although I've told it to search in my home dir, it insists on searching (and finds files) from the system root.

Reproducible: Always

The search function is completely useless to me if I can't exclude dirs.

Can you post the screenshot of your search window?

First screenshot - the search/exclusions.

You can see in the first screenshot that I've excluded .local/ In the second screenshot - the results - you can see that it's clearly looking in .local/ despite my having excluded it.

Also, as long as we're here... in there a way to make exclusions permanent? In other words, I don't want to have to re-enter my exclusions each time I search and/or close/re-open the program.

Thank you
