I can set a shortcut for a snippet, but does not work

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. edit snippet
2. choose a snippet main shortcut
3. try that combination of key: does not work

Actual Results:  
nothing to do

Expected Results:  
the content of snippet

Works for me. Please test with latest version. If it is still a problem, please tell the exact shortcut key(s) you assigned to.

Sill not working for me. I tried with crtl+shift+d, nothing, ctrl+alt+d, nothing, ctrl+d: nothing.

All of those work for me when tied to a snippet.

What is your exact version information from Kate's Help menu?

I have KDE4, maybe you KDE5?

Yep, as you can see from my comment 1.

KDE4 is end of life, so I hope you could try with 5.

If that works in the KF5 version, that is ok this way, we don't do fixes for KDE 4 versions, sorry, we have not the manpower for that :(
