Description Daniel Boles 2015-10-06 19:13:57 UTC
Bug 230983 was never actually resolved. This still occurs in latest Debian running Plasma 4:4.14.2-1.

The behaviour is completely unintuitive and contrary to how the normal Image selector works - despite looking exactly the same.

Please reopen and confirm whether now fixed - since the old ticket was closed for no apparent reason, I suspect it might not have been addressed. Either that or Debian 8 is very far behind, since that ticket is many years old.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose Virus type for Desktop
2. It loads a default image
3. Single-click to highlight your chosen image
4. Click Apply

Actual Results:
Desktop image is not changed, or changes to a default (or the last double-clicked) one

Expected Results:
Single-click to highlight, then click Apply, should change to the selected image as it correctly does for the normal Image type wallpaper.

This wallpaper type no longer exists in Plasma 5, and Plasma 4 has been unmaintained and unsupported for years.
