I cannot confirm this in recent git version of Kdenlive. At least not with my 5:57 test video: https://archive.org/download/StockVideoGameVideo/TriggerRallyGeneralPurposeVideo.mp4 Should the link not work, it's the "MPEG4" download from https://archive.org/details/StockVideoGameVideo I demonstrate this inability to reproduce this error message/crash in a video: https://youtu.be/bZUAowpFyTI How long was your video? Can you reproduce this issue using the video I used? Hi there. kdenlive is certainly more difficult to crash now. My video clips are 4K, and 3.7Gb each. When just zooming through the clip, the memory used by kdenlive slowly increases, and before long my system runs out of memory, and then kdenlive crashes. -Evert- Evert, is this bug still relevant? Or has it been fixed? We would like to reduce the bug report backlog... ;) I am unable to make kdenlive crash now with this effect. |
