When opening the Applications submenu in Kickoff first time after boot, it shows "Applications updated" notice shortly before you can access the menu.

I assume that it shouldn't do this every time but I might be wrong.

When I updated to Plasma 5 I removed some Wine related shortcuts (used to launch Windows programs installed using Wine) manually from some configuration folders. I don't know if this had any effect on the menu behavior but it's useful to know, I suppose.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reboot the computer and log in.
2. Open the Kickoff menu.
3. Select Applications submenu/tab.

Actual Results:
The "Applications updated" notice is shown

This was rewritten for 5.5 so is hopefully fixed.

Please reopen if not.
