Description aechag 2015-09-29 05:40:05 UTC
Holding Space on my keyboard and sliding the stylus around can pan the canvas, but assigning {Space} to my stylus button does not work. The icon will change to the Pan icon, and I can confirm that space is registered for other applications, but sliding the stylus does nothing. This behavior is also true for other "Hold key down and move mouse around" type functions, like Ctrl+Space to zoom and Ctrl for color picker.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Assign Pan canvas button to stylus button.
2. Press stylus button and slide stylus around

Actual Results:
No panning :(

Expected Results:
Canvas should pan around

I'm using Windows 7 and a Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch.

Can confirm. Keyboard ctrl key + stylus works to sample colour, but Wacom button mapped to ctrl key brings up the colour sampler, but when using the stylus, nothing happens. Same with shift to change brush size.

I should mention that the Wacom buttons mapped to ctrl and shift work as intended in Inkscape: As modifiers to the stylus input, so this seems to be some bug specific to Krita/KDE/QT.

Kubuntu 15.10, using the Krita version that is in the Ubuntu repo.
