The same problem occurs on my machine, with a couple twists: 1. When I plug in the external monitor, most commonly the external eats the panels from the primary, rather than vice versa. This leads to a panel stacked on top of a panel on the external. 2. When I attempt to move panels between monitors, the panel I'm moving doesn't simply stop at the screen edge; it vanishes. The lost panel continues to function on the screen it was being moved from for keyboard-shortcut purposes, but cannot be otherwise seen or interacted with. It stays vanished until next login. I use a laptop and regurlarly move between mobile usage and adding the external at my desk. This is a significantly frustrating feature for me. Please let me know if there are any tests I can perform locally to provide you with additional information. Thanks. I'm also affected by the vanishing panel when trying to move it across the screens. I can always reproduce this. This problem seems to be solved. Running Qt 5.6 and Plasma 5.6.1 (was already solved for me in Plasma 5.5.x) Is it still reproducible? For me it is solved. Sounds like it's solved. |
