Konqueror 20+ freezes/crashes with WebKit engine Linux: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 qtwebkit-5.212.0_pre20200309-r1 To change it back to WebEngine I have to restore/edit ~/.config/mimeapps.list and delete ksycoca file from ~/.cache. Thank you for reporting this crash in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the crash with a recent software version? QtWebKit is not maintain any more, it was removed from Gentoo but I see it's still available in Ubuntu 22 (libqt5webkit5 , libkf5webkit5). Hello and sorry for answering that late. And I agree it's right to close this bug as I haven't followed your appeals to reproduce the problem. The machine I had the problem with is already disposed and was replaced with my new workstation, I also wouldn't install that version of konqueror on a newer system any more but rather newer versions. Though, newer versions of the QT library require Open-GL support and this is very difficult to achieve on ppc64 systems as Big-Endian platforms are hardly supported by the community.
