$ rpm -q okular
okular-14.12.3-16.1.x86_64

$ rpm -q kdebase4-workspace
kdebase4-workspace-4.11.20-29.5.x86_64

Download http://tda.panasonic-europe-service.com/docs/2z55ee04c4z3z3b69bz656ez706466z23zbd719c389236fbc12ecc2092da7673c330c206e1/tsn3/data/ALL/HCWX970EP/OI/928434/sqw0248.pdf and open it in Okular. Open System Activity view. Start paging down through the pdf in okular by clicking with the mouse on the vertical scrollbar. Keep clicking (or keep the left mouse button down) and observe how the Okular's memory usage grows to ~1.5Gb ... Exiting Okular frees memory.  

Reproducible: Always

Huge memory leak.

Expected Results:  
No memory leak.
