Forgot to mention, I am not sure this is relevant, but my notebook has an external monitor always connected Can you move windows about and interact with them? I can start apps with krunner (even if the krunner UI does not appear) and I can move/resize the windows normally. I made a reset of the plasma settings and now the problem seems to have gone away. mv ~/.config/plasma* $HOME/plasma-config/ killall plasmashell; sleep 2; /usr/bin/plasmashell Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
