When receiving mail it would be nice to know (execute specific command) depending on source (having more pop3-servers local folder etc.) or on destination folder the second one would be probably better because of possibility running command after processing filters so depending on (for example) mailing lists arriving on the same e-mail address.

The second minor wish - maybe it's already implemented and I didn't find it - it would be good to have something to "pause" checking mail.

 OK! 
guessed there would be a way to do it, when i think about a lot. 
but an easy-to-use option to get a notify just for private mail -not mailing list- comming in on 
same account would be nice. 
to make things worse, i got a couple of accounts. the way shown i have to switch off standard 
notify and build a sound&requester-filter for _each_ of them. 
 
by the way: what event triggers the request/sound/cmd on "got message"? marking recvd msgs as 
"old" etc (by filter) seems nonrelevant, so it is not an "unread" or "new" (difference??*) msg 
appearing in any folder that triggers(?).

Also it will be good (another feature copied from Sylpheed-claws) if you can provide a variable or something with the number of new mails received.
I use an osd program to notify of new mail, and it will be nice if it can tell me:

You've got 5 new mails

instead of just "you've got new mail"

It will be good even to use with festival :D

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
