There should be an option to automatically start OTR sessions like pidgin-otr does.
eg: if pidgin-otr receives an ecrypted message, it tries to (re)start an otr-session and even resents messages to make sure, nothing get lost.
There is also an option to force OTR everytime the interlocutor is known to understand otr.
Telepathy, however, shows only "Encrypted message", and does nothing, until you click on OTR->Start session, which is quite annoying.

This is quite annoying.
