Thank you for the quick answer, yes telepathy-gabble fixes the issue.
However IMHO there still is a bug: Trying to add ICQ etc. without telepathy-haze results in a clear error message indicating what's wrong. This would be the expected result when a dependency is missing, rather than broken forms.
