I edit some files directly on a webdav repository to which password challenge is given in order to authenticate and allow reading and writing into it.
When kate is asked for authentication i choose to save password, but I am asked again after kate is closed and reopened.

Reproducible: Always

Hi Chris, I know it's been a while since you reported this issue but I've just tested with kate from git master and I cannot replicate this issue.

Can you please retest and let us know if this is still an issue for you, thanks.
