Description nono31393 2015-08-30 15:04:47 UTC
If I select a photo I took in portrait mode for my desktop's wallpaper, it is displayed as a normal landscape image.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take a picture in portrait mode with a recent camera
2. Select it as your wallpaper image

Actual Results:
The image is not properly displayed. It is showed in landscape mode.

Expected Results:
The picture should be displayed in portait mode.

This worked well on previous KDE 5.x version, when I was using the version shipped with Kubuntu 15.04 (sorry I don't remember the exact version).

Would you be able to attach such an image?

It is displayed correctly in Gwenview and some other image viewers (but not all).

Once we depend on Qt 5.5 we could enabled autoTransform on the Image

Rotate wallpaper based on image EXIF

This requires bumping the version to Qt5.5
