Description Nikola Schnelle 2015-08-28 17:01:38 UTC
Right click menu entries missing:

1) create new folder
2) create new text file
3) compress to...

This happens on Kubuntu Wily 15.10.

See screenshot.

Reproducible: Always

The menu entries for creating a new whatever depend on template files which are not necessarily in the same package as dolphin. I do not use Kubuntu, but it seems to me that the package you need is libkonq5-templates. For menu entries related to archiving you probably need to install ark if you haven't done so yet. If you have installed ark but still miss the entries, there might be some other package you need or it's a packaging bug (but not a bug in dolphin).

Also, if anyone using Arch happens to find this looking for a solution, you need kdebase-lib for the new folder/file entries.

Thanks for the bug report. This issue (which is indeed not a Dolphin issue) has been reported already.
