I think this is duplicate of bug343772 . I'm not sure because author didn't describe how problem behaves/looks on his machine. The visual behavior is a little bit different. In the process of switching back to the laptop monitor and making it the primary display (because it is the only one left) plasma crashes. In contrast to bug343772 it restarts immediately. So beside the error message that plasma had crashed the display works as expected. This was no problem under Ubuntu 14.10. As a wild guess I would think of the graphics driver (Intel) and OpenGL implementation as a cause. Compositor works on OpenGL 3.1 and EGL to work around animation freezes on compositor animations with GLX. Any suggestions to narrow it down or how to provide more useful information? #8 0x00007fd1ab2e73f0 in brw_clear (ctx=0x3a5d7d8, mask=50) at ../../../../../../../src/mesa/drivers/dri/i965/brw_clear.c:235 This is crashing in your graphic driver which we can't do much about. Please upgrade/downgrade your version of mesa. See information (including a workaround in the linked report) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 349519 *** Thank you for your support. Sorry to bother you with a non KDE bug. |
